How to Race BMX Camp

racing, then you need to attend this BMX camp. The team of instructors
are the best at teaching you the techniques it takes to win. This year's
camps are redesigned to give you more intense training and instruction.
We welcome riders from other tracks to attend this camp, it would
benefit them to get more training and practice on our redesigned track
before the State Championship at Westmoreland later this year.

Dear Westmoreland BMX Families,
I am writing to all concerning the upcoming race season at Westmoreland BMX. Over the past few years, I've seen a drop in ridership. Along with that came a drop in Volunteers. It takes approximately 10-12 people to successfully run a local race and not to put all the responsibility on the same few people who volunteer week after week. Everyone who volunteer at the track has a child racing including myself and although it is nice to watch your son or daughter, it's the children of the volunteer who suffer the most because not enough people step up to the plate to help those in need.
I hope that this year does not come down to the same few people doing all the work. So, I ask all those new and old to ask myself or any other volunteer if there is anything you can do to help, we appreciate your help. Lets make this year a great year especially seeing that we host the state championship and have an excellent track that we work so hard on for the riders to enjoy. Lets make our staff just as excellent.

The Northmoreland Park BMX track is open daily to the public during normal park hours, but only when the track is in good dry condition for riding, please do not ride on the track if the dirt is soft or wet, thank you. Anyone wishing to bring a bike and try out the track may do so at your own risk. A helmet is required!
