Congratulations to all riders who went to Jamestown, New York for the Keystone BMX State Championships. Although it was quite soggy, we had a good time and Westmoreland BMX was well represented at the races.
In the 35-39 cruiser class main, the top 3 riders were Mark Bell, Scott Burright, and Scott Haberer. John Baker took 2nd in the 40-44 cruiser class. Ashley Barnes took 5th in the 10-11 girls class which even had semis. Jessica Baker took 2nd in 14-15 girls.
In Expert Action, 14 year old Cody Zell finished 2nd and 15 year old Corey Zell finished 3rd.
In Novice Action, 5 year old Zack Gareis finished 5th, 8 year old Travis Stover finished 4th, 9 year old Nick Dawson finished 3rd, and 10 year old Evan Stover finished 4th. For the 11 year old, Jimmy Lesie finished 1st and Dustin Stover finished 2nd. In the 14 year olds, JJ Wisneski finished 1st and Nathan Osche finished 3rd. 15 year old Jon Swanstrom finished 2nd. 18 year old Tim Dzugan finished 2nd. Dan McCool finished 5th in the 35 & Over Expert, Novice class.
In Rookie Action, 5 year olds Cameron Davis, Kendall Bomblatus, Austin Barnes, and Tony Simboli finished 4th thru 7th. 6 year old Rustin Rittiger finished 2nd. 8 year old Michael Simboli finished 2nd and Collin Rittiger finished 7th. 12 year old, Bobby Wega finished 4th. 14 year old Lindsay McCracken finished 4th. 15 year olds, Nick Dzugan, Mike Wega, and Shayne Mains finished 2nd through 4th. 17 year old Zack Wineland finished 3rd.
